About Donato Marinelli
Donato Marinelli contributes to the important work of several medically focused organizations by participating in fundraising events. A frequent supporter of organizations that address cardiovascular diseases, Donato Marinelli helps the Women Heart Organization, the American Heart Association, and the World Heart Federation.
The World Heart Federation brings together the expertise and resources of more than 200 medical organizations across 100 nations. In collaboration with the World Health Organization and other medical associations, the World Heart Federation delivers the Noncommunicable Disease Academy, an online learning portal for healthcare providers, community health workers, and medical practitioners.
The project was developed to train more than 18 million health workers all over the world. The online program teaches health workers how to screen and diagnose some of the most prevalent and deadly noncommunicable diseases, including cardiovascular diseases.
The certificate course was created by the American College of Cardiology. As of summer 2020, the course is available in Spanish, English, and Chinese.
